Overview
Ad Astra has quietly woven itself into the tapestry of Brisbane's exciting array of professional theatres.
It has a commitment to produce a wonderful kaleidoscope of Australian and International works. The entire executive team are volunteers who work diligently to creates spaces try to provide opportunities for Queensland creatives to stay in Queensland. We are also dedicated to continuing our mission to showcase Queensland talent across the country and around the world.
We are passionate about providing a space for the creatives of Brisbane to showcase amazing works.
A space was created in an old corporate office in 2018 which transformed it from an old tired building into a beautiful black box. The space allows for it to be transformed into homes, barns, patios, offices and everything in between.

In 2023, the Brisbane Arts Theatre at 210 Petrie Terrace was sold to Ad Astra. Prior to this, it was the home of its namesake company, Brisbane Arts Theatre.
It is currently undergoing refurbishment.
