QShowcase: Arts Market + Conference stands as the only statewide performing arts market for Queenslanders. Building on the success of Stage Queensland's CONNECT Conferences, QShowcase provides a unique opportunity to network and collaborate on touring opportunities across the region.
Held across three days at The Empire in Toowoomba, the arts market will showcase in-development and tour-ready works from across Queensland through spotlights, live pitches, and performance excerpts. Complemented by a thought-provoking conference programme of keynotes, panels, workshops, and Q&As suitable for both presenters, artists and producers.
Featuring a variety of opportunities to network with peers and key industry, plus the return of the Local’s Expo, this is your chance to take part in the conversations that shape Queensland’s touring landscape. Full program and showcasing artists to be announced shortly...

Monday 9 June
Registrations open at The Empire at 2:00pm before the official program commences with a Welcome to Country, opening keynote, panel discussion and an update from Stage Queensland.
Join us afterwards for a casual welcome drink and get acquainted with your fellow delegates.
Tuesday 10 June
It's (arts) market day!
Jumpstart the morning with some speed-dating as our Meet the Presenters reverse pitching session returns.
After a quick morning tea, you're invited to our first showcase session of pitches, excerpts and work profiles from across Queensland, before joining us for some informal pitching over a long lunch at the Locals Expo.
Then, dive back into our final selection of showcases for this year's QShowcase ahead of enjoying a healthy dose of networking at a catered cocktail function that evening.
Wednesday 11 June
Another full day rounds out QShowcase, with a focus on professional development.
We begin with an insightful keynote and Q&A before splitting off into a number of breakout sessions.
Following lunch, we'll get some updates from peak industry bodies and partake in some more breakout sessions before coming back together for afternoon tea and a thought-provoking panel discussion.
We close QShowcase for 2025 in the late afternoon with a brief reflection of our time together.

Our Hosts
The Empire has a colourful history — from its beginnings as a flourishing silent movie house to the largest regional theatre in Australia bringing the very best of entertainment to the region.
Getting There
Toowoomba is an easy 90 minute drive west of Brisbane, less than two and a half hours from the Gold Coast and a three hour scenic country drive from the Sunshine Coast.
The Empire is perfectly situated in Toowoomba's CBD.
Parking:
Parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is available in a choice of two car parks to the right when driving up Neil Street. Neil Street is a one way street. Parking after 5:00pm Monday to Friday is free of charge. There is also parking available at the Neil St Bus Interchange.
Coach Transfers:
For delegates not wanting to drive, Greyhound Australia operate regular coach transfers between Toowoomba and selected locations. There's also regular return shuttles from Brisbane Airport to Toowoomba with the Airport Flyer or CON-X-ION.
The Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport provides the easiest way to travel in and out of the region with direct services to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Townsville and Regional Queensland.
