Gather Rounds
An ongoing series of hyper-local networking nights, gathering local artists, presenters and stakeholders from across Queensland — one community at a time.
Enough emails that go unread.
Sometimes, you just need to talk it out in a room.
Timed to coincide with a local arts festival in the region, Gather Rounds invite artists, producers, presenters, community leaders, local government, and other stakeholders to share a drink on us.
Over an evening of laid-back networking, Gather Rounds are about dropping the formalities to help foster relationships within the community, and spark conversations that can drive projects forward.
Whether you're seeking advice, happy to share your experience, or just looking to catch up with peers, Gather Rounds encourage everyone from makers to audiences to exchange ideas, share challenges, and celebrate successes — both with each other and the QTouring team.

Gather Round: Anywhere Festival
To celebrate the return of the Moreton Bay Anywhere Festival, come raise a glass to creativity, community, and the joy of live performance at QTouring’s ‘Gather Round’ - a hyper-local networking event for the arts.
Hosted at Hip Hops Brewers, this laid-back evening is all about fostering connections and sparking creative collaborations across the performing arts sector. Skip the formalities, enjoy a round or two on us, and engage with fellow creatives in meaningful conversations that can drive your next big project forward.
In collaboration with the Moreton Bay Anywhere Festival, this edition of Gather Round celebrates the resilience of art in found spaces, and the spirit of risk-taking and creativity that drives it. Bringing independent producers and artists together in unconventional venues sits at the heart of touring across Queensland.
Since 2011, Anywhere Festival has reimagined the traditional fringe model by putting creative freedom first. By offering rent-free, non-traditional venues alongside development support and marketing, the festival empowers artists to take bold risks. Audiences, in turn, are invited to discover work in surprising settings - from poetry in lighthouses to circuses in driveways, music in backyards, storytelling on ferries, theatre in hedge mazes, and even musicals staged in airplanes.
Meet the QTouring team and discuss the challenges and opportunities you face touring beyond the region, and vice versa, bringing touring work into your region.
So come along, grab that person you’ve always wanted to speak to and say g’day, or come and welcome those who are stepping into the sector for the first time.
