We are passionate about developing further as a multidiscplinary arts venue, and diversify our overall programming from community hires and smaller music gigs, to the capacity to run 3000 shows and events of any kind. Our audience are primarily FNQ locals and Djabuguay and Buluwai First Nations, and we want to continue to expand our audience to include these groups and tourist groups that visit our town. Our long term vision for the Amphitheatre is to continue working towards a social enterprise model, which would allow us to further develop our in-house programming, while working through our 10 year strategic master plan.

The Amphitheatre is impacted by the wet season and we are generally unable to manage events during this period, as most of the venue is uncovered, grassy terraces. At this stage, we have few things to offer during the tourist season. We have many community events in the region and have made efforts to communicate with festivals like Savannah in the Round and Cairns Festival.
