Overview
The City of Logan is conveniently located 30 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD and 30 minutes north of the Gold Coast.
The venues operated by Logan City Council include the Logan Entertainment Centre which houses a 700pax tiered seating theatre or 1000pax GA standing cap, and the Kingston Butter Factory which has 2 key stage spaces being the Butterbox Theatre where intimate performances are held (cap 220) & Outdoor stage where events large concerts/festivals are able to be staged (cap 7500)
Both venues run an annual program of events but are also available for hire by both commercial and community enterprises.

The Logan Entertainment Centre is a managed venue, owned and operated by Logan City Council. The multipurpose auditorium can be adapted to clients’ needs and has a varying capacity depending on the type of seating arrangement, ranging from a 400 banquet to 650 seating or 1000 standing.

This contemporary black box theatre with flat stage, retractable seating and audio visual set up offers versatile indoor space for a variety of events. Theatre productions, conferences, conversations, artist gatherings are all accommodated in this flexible venue.
Venue Size
The theatre offers 263m2 of space with a 90m2 sprung flat-stage performance area. In standard seating mode the theatre can fit up to 220 patrons.
Technical Information
Like all facilities at this venue, our standard audio and lighting packages are of high quality. The venue utilises the latest in ProLight LED Luminaires in both Profile and Fresnel, Dante audio systems from Yamaha, and projection from Epson.

Our 14m wide Outdoor Stage faces south-west and offers highly adaptable performance space. It can accommodate up to 50 performers together on stage and has a fan-shaped audience viewing area with a 5,200 m2 audience capacity.
The stage faces open green space. Ramp access is available at the side and rear. Backstage, a crossover corridor adjoins the dressing rooms. The venue has a standard audio and lighting fit out.
