The Proserpine Entertainment Centre (PEC) is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose venue located in the heart of the Whitsundays region, offering a vibrant program of theatre, live music, film, and community events. Purpose-built to support both professional touring productions and local performances, the Centre features award-winning architecture, a fully equipped auditorium with retractable seating for up to 380 patrons, and a versatile flat-floor space suitable for functions, exhibitions, and workshops.
The PEC is also committed to accessibility and inclusion, with regular sensory-friendly cinema sessions and community-focused programming. Centrally located just off the Bruce Highway and easily accessible from surrounding towns and the Whitsunday Coast Airport, the Centre plays a vital role in strengthening cultural life and creative opportunity across North Queensland.

The spacious and versatile auditorium is the hero of the Proserpine Entertainment Centre.
Catering for all types of events from conferences to weddings, gala dinners to stage productions, the auditorium is our largest and most adaptable event space.
Fitted out with fully retractable tiered seating, the auditorium is home to a theatrical stage and digital cinema screen.
Complete with air-conditioning, wireless network and audio-visual solutions and support, the auditorium is the epitome of indoor event spaces.

The foyer is the perfect location for intimate events. Its floor to ceiling windows and stunning architecture provide a unique and ready-to-go space for cocktail events and conference break out sessions.
Our suggested layout for the foyer is a cocktail layout for up to 50 guests.

The garden lies adjacent to foyer. With luscious green grass and native fauna, the garden offers the perfect outdoor area for dinners and dancing under the stars. The perfect location for a magical marquee or a bohemian teepee, the garden can be utilised as an extension to any indoor events space.
