About the work

A vibrant musical journey across cultures—where folk, jazz, and tradition meet without borders.

Music Without Borders is a joyful, exciting, and ever-surprising musical journey around the world. Blending elements of world, folk, and jazz, the show evokes visions of Scandinavian midsummers, Parisian laneways, South American sensuality, and the unbridled joy of improvisation.

Drawing on Swedish traditional music, French jazz, and Brazilian rhythms, Music Without Borders weaves a rich and distinctive musical experience. The performance features a unique combination of violin, nyckelharpa, chromatic button accordion, guitar, banjo, and double bass—bringing a fresh perspective to a diverse range of traditional musical styles.

Balancing intricate arrangements with fiery improvisations, this show celebrates the beauty of musical cross-pollination and the connections shared across cultures. Whether rooted in tradition or led by spontaneity, Music Without Borders offers audiences an engaging and immersive exploration of sound that knows no boundaries.
