The Burdekin Theatre Music Loft is a small multi-purpose venue located on the Mezzanine level of the Burdekin Theatre Complex.

The Music Loft is a perfect venue for exhibitions, workshops, meetings, and functions and is often used as a “break out” venue for conferences, as well as a venue for private functions in association with events in the main theatre or foyer.

A range of equipment can be hired for use in the venue such as projection and presentation equipment.

The Music Loft is accessible via the venue’s Foyer using the lift or stairs and via an external staircase at the side of the Complex.

The Forecourt with its beautiful Living Lagoon water feature can accommodate up to 800 people for any outside event. The Burdekin Theatre Forecourt includes an impressive all weather outdoor stage and is a relaxed outdoor facility perfect for public events and private functions.

A range of equipment can be hired for use at the venue including outdoor sound and lighting packages.

The Burdekin Theatre Foyer is a versatile space suitable for smaller intimate performances and functions with full production staging if required. It is the perfect venue for intimate performances, weddings, corporate functions and meetings as well as an exhibition space.

The Foyer has full wheel chair access and is accessible via the venue’s main entrance.

Connecting seamlessly to the Burdekin Theatre Foyer, this versatile space is perfect for smaller events, birthday celebrations, team meetings, and private functions. It also serves as an excellent breakout area for larger events hosted in the Foyer, such as conferences or training days.

The Main Hall with a capacity of 700 patrons seated concert style and 500 patrons seated with tables. The Hall is complete with stage and modern dressing rooms and comprehensive sound and lighting systems that are operated by highly skilled technical staff. A commercial kitchen and bar facilities are available on-site.

The Minor Hall is ideal for smaller functions and meetings for up to 120 people seated concert style or up to 80 seated at tables.

The Ayr Showgrounds complex includes a main hall and grounds available for hire.

The main hall is ideal for weddings, functions, parties, presentations and meetings. A commercial kitchen and bar facilities are available on-site. A PA system is also available for hire.

The grounds are available for hire for events such as horse riding clinics, circuses and rodeos.
