About the work

Learn about the goodness of fruits and vegetables and the superpowers within them.

A musical puppet show teaching young audiences aged 3-8years about healthy eating and mindful habits in a fun, engaging way. Hosted by Jess, a bubbly and enthusiastic guide, the show features catchy original songs and loveable puppet characters: Spuddy and Scoot. Spuddy the sweet potato is keen, curious and energetic. Spuddy believes everything is sweet and SPUD-TACULAR and is always ready to mash in a punny joke to make everyone smile. Alongside him is Scoot the strawberry - a sassy and spicy character proving that healthy habits can be full of zest and flair!

Jess leads the way, guiding children through adventures while encouraging participation with interactive moments like "Munch and Crunch!"—a song inspired by the renowned snack break practiced across Queensland Primary Schools.

The colourful set is designed like a lively veggie patch, where vibrant greens and produce come to life, making healthy living feel exciting and adventurous. With humour, music, and one of a kind characters, the show makes healthy habits both fun and memorable. Spuddy and Scoot hopes to inspire kids to embrace wellness in their every daily lives whilst fostering a lifelong love for healthy choices.
