Mel Lathouras and Katerini Manolatos are dynamic vocalists, educators, and cultural storytellers who blend music, community, and heritage to create powerful artistic experiences. Together, they co-founded Girl From Greece, a production company dedicated to celebrating Greek culture through music and storytelling while celebrating some of Brisbane's best musicians and creatives.

Mel, a jazz and soul vocalist with a Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy, is also a vocal and mindset coach and founder of the Fearless Singer community. Katerini, a classically trained crossover singer and registered neurologic music therapist, works extensively with young people with additional needs.

In 2024, they co-produced and starred in The Girl From Greece: A Tribute to Nana Mouskouri, a sold-out success at QPAC’s Cremorne Theatre, with an upcoming performance at Brisbane City Hall in May. Their popular Saloni Sessions, foster connection through their signature Greco Retro Jazz, playing at iconic Brisbane venues.

Rooted in a deep appreciation for heritage, friendship, and storytelling, The Girl from Greece bridges genres and generations through a mix of jazz, folk, 50s-70s pop, and classical music. Whether on stage, in workshops, or through their Girl From Greece Podcast, Mel and Kat champion music’s power to connect, heal, and transform.
