The Farm
Session #1 (Large Venues)
Tuesday, February 24, 2026 10:00 AM
Pan Pacific Perth - Golden Ballroom
The Farm twists big ideas into bold, mischievous dance-theatre. Their latest creation circles the edges of mortality, while tour-ready works invite audiences into strange, exhilarating worlds they won’t easily leave behind.
Sometimes brash, always bold and insightful, The Farm connects everyone from art aficionados to theatre virgins, often described as the ‘gateway drug to contemporary dance’. Our company is run by four Artistic Directors in a collaborative and anti-hierarchical model with connections to the Gold Coast, WA, and Berlin. We push the boundaries of contemporary arts practice by challenging preconceptions of what performance is and where it can be seen. From a drive-in B-grade horror piece in a Showground, to a durational improvisation on a sandbar, we have proven ourselves as bold re-imaginers of how contemporary performance can touch the lives of everyday people.
Circa
Chapiteau
Session #1 (Large Venues)
Tuesday, February 24, 2026 10:00 AM
Pan Pacific Perth - Golden Ballroom
Chapiteau is a bold new work from Circa in which a circus tent erupts through the floorboards of the theatre, shattering centuries of form and expectation. This collision of worlds - grit and glamour, impermanence and ceremony - creates a landscape of upheaval and fragile reinvention, where bodies, stories, and traditions are stitched together into something radically new. At once poetic and physical, Chapiteau is a powerful meditation on displacement, belonging, and the resilience born from rupture.
Circa is one of the world’s great performing arts companies. Since 2004, they have called Brisbane, Australia, home while touring the world, captivating audiences in over 45 countries and reaching more than two million people. Circa’s award-winning performances have earned standing ovations, rave reviews and sold-out shows across six continents.
Everything they do is fueled by their core values: quality, audacity, humanity.
Each year Circa tour their shows across the world and premiere multiple new creations. They are a staple at prestigious festivals and venues in New York, London, Berlin and Montreal as well as throughout Queensland and across Australia.

Pan Pacific Perth - Golden Ballroom
Screens is a bold new theatre work led by Perth artist and advocate Julia Hales, who has Down syndrome (DS). At a time when people with DS are thriving, advances in prenatal testing threaten the future of their community. Drawing on lived experience and research showing that people with DS and their families report high levels of happiness and pride, Screens challenges fear and stigma with compassion and truth. Created by Hales and her long-time collaborator Finn O’Branagain (Sydney), with Chris and Dani Kohn (Cairns) and Hermione Merry (Castlemaine)—all parents of children with DS—the work combines text, live and recorded video, immersive sound and visual design.
Screens gives voice to those rarely heard in conversations about testing, ethics, and inclusion, offering audiences an entertaining, moving, and thought-provoking experience celebrating life, love, and difference.

Nadia Milford
The Last Princess of Lebanon tells the story of my great grandmother, a Lebanese princess, turned migrant, turned successful business woman.
It follows her journey from the palaces of Beiteddine to the humble Queenslander in the small town of Dalby during the 1930s where she eventually opened her own successful fashion store. Sheathed inside a fun fairytale facade, the story reveals the darker realities of life as a princess during a time where women fought for freedom and autonomy and over their bodies. It also sheds light on Australia’s sinister history of assimilation while recognising how far the country has come.

A split second before the biggest show of her career, an Indigenous pop artist goes missing. Wrestling with every choice she’s ever made, our icon traverses deep time to meet her makers in an attempt to discover the truth.
Set in the fictional universe of Queen’s City this story re-imagines a world where Indigenous communities were given their land back. In another time, we get to see what might happen if we had gone down a different path, if Indigenous pop culture was the norm and not the token.
A high-octane, pop-fueled debut premiere from Blak Social’s Alethea Beetson (Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi and Wiradjuri). Meet Your Maker is not based on a true story… but it is based on a true feeling. A one-woman tour de force performance that traverses live music, video, and monologue forms.
